Billing
- How does the free trial work?
- Start it from SessionCollab the first time you host. You get 14 days of Pro without entering a card, once per account and per computer. When it ends, choose a plan to keep hosting; joining stays free. Nothing is charged by itself.
- Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
- Yes, in the app, under Settings, Account. It shows the price first: the unused time of your current plan is credited, and the new plan starts at once.
- What happens when I cancel?
- Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and you can change your mind until then. After that you can still join sessions for free, and your Sets and settings stay where they are.
- What if a payment fails?
- Pro keeps working for 7 days while Paddle tries the card again, and the app shows where to update it. If the payment still doesn't go through, the subscription ends.
- Do you give refunds?
- Yes. Every payment, the first one and every renewal, can be refunded in full within 14 days. See the refund policy.
- What does Lifetime cover?
- SessionCollab 1.x and all its updates, for as long as you use it, on up to 3 computers. A future major version may be offered as a paid upgrade. If you have a subscription when you buy it, the subscription ends at once and its unused time is refunded, so you never pay twice.
- Can I pay in my currency?
- Checkout shows the price in your local currency, with any tax, before you pay.
- Is there a plan for studios or schools?
- Not a separate one. Each person who hosts needs Pro, which works on up to 3 of their computers, and everyone they invite joins free. Questions? Write to support@sessioncollab.com.
